As the lead fitout designer, we worked with the Project Managers, Sir Peter Jackson, Sir Richard Taylor and the base build Architects to develop and refine the concept for the movie museum fitout, within the Takina Building in central Wellington.
Combining elements from films such as the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit trilogies we coordinated the fitout design, 3D modelled film sets, advised on pedestrian flow and key visitor touch points and collaborated with the base build design team.
Unfortunately the project was cancelled before Detailed Design stage.
