The new Hobbiton administration building brings together staff from a number of different departments into a centralised location, to create a unified ‘hub’ for staff collaboration, engagement and socialising.
Tilt Architecture developed the proposed design and produced a 3D model of the Building. We also developed the Structural Steelwork, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Fire Protection, Siteworks and Internal Fitout 3D models. This coordination of models helped to reduce a number of tricky issues, became an essential tool during the design and construction phases. The model was also used for on-site contractors to investigate and setout their elements, via an app on their devices.
